2013 we cycled across the USA on a Hase Pino semi recumbent tandem
USA Coast to Coast - Yorktown to Florence - USA Pacific Coast - Florence to Los Angeles - Mileage 5733 miles

2015 we cycled across the USA on the Southern Tier Route and down to Key West Florida - Mileage 4888

2017 we cycled South Korea and Japan - Mileage 2265

2019 we cycled Mexico and some of Route 66 in the USA - Mileage 3623

We went to see the documentary film The Cycle of Love about a young man from India who in 1975 cycled 6000 miles to Sweden to be with the woman he loves. PK was very courageous to leave his home with no money but he was driven by love, and he had faith he would be able to sell his portrait sketches along the way to fund his journey. He also received a lot of kindness from the people he met. It was a very inspirational touching film, we loved it, and recommend it 🇮🇳🚴‍♂️✍️🇸🇪❤️

Holiday Monday ride out for breakfast at The Crown Inn, Finglesham. I rode my Rans Stratus XP, Mark rode his Maxayra Ray 2 E-assist. I am very unfit on a non electric assisted bike, and I'm painfully slow, therefore we were totally incompatible to ride together but I wanted to burn the calories off 😂 🥓🍳👨‍🍳🍞🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

A ride out to the Port of Dover to see the Nao Victoria a replica of the first ship to sail around the world. A bit of history - over 500 years ago in 1519 an expedition of 5 ships with a total of 243 men aboard left Spain with the goal of sailing around the world. Three years later in 1522 only one ship with 18 men aboard returned.
This replica built in 1991 has also sailed around the world between 2004 and 2006 covering 26,000 nautical miles and visiting 17 countries
