A friendly game today for the scorps girls 🧡⚽️🧡

We came up against a very good side who tested us throughout.

After falling behind, the girls kept working and got their reward when Darcy calmly found the equaliser with a brilliant finish 🥅

A special mention has to go to Tillia, who was brilliant in goal, facing a very talented attacking player, she pulled off save after save to keep us in the game.

These girls continue to make us proud every time they step onto the pitch. They play for each other, they never give up, and they continue to grow as both footballers and team mates🖤🧡⚽

A great team performance from the girls, who continue to go from strength to strength. There was plenty of effort and lots of chances created throughout the game. 🙌🏻🧡⚽️

Ellie opened the scoring shortly after half-time, before Rose fired home an absolute screamer to make it two. Amelia then rounded off the scoring with a cheeky finish, while Tillia earned a well-deserved clean sheet. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Today’s win at Goole was full of heat, grit and determination!! 💪🏼

Through to the final after penalties in the semi, Rose & Amelia hit the back of the net 🥅 ⚽️ 👏🏻 and our super Tillia made incredible saves and stopped every penalty she faced 👏🧤

In the final, Ellie got us back level before Hollie bagged the winner ⚽🔥

Every single girl worked tirelessly in the heat today and we could not be prouder of this fantastic group. Their teamwork, effort and determination were outstanding from start to finish.
