To our dearest LERC family 💛
There’s something so special about this place… isn’t there? 🥰
For over 50 years, Long Eaton Riding Club hasn’t just been a club — it’s been where we’ve cheered each other on, laughed in the rain, celebrated every rosette, and grown together. From our youngest members aged 4 leading their first pony, to those who’ve been here from the very start — this is our home 🐴🩷
To be open with you — we’re breaking even, and we’re so grateful for that. But we’ve held our prices steady even as costs have risen, because this place is for everyone — and we want it to stay that way 💚
Our committee rolled up our sleeves, got covered in paint, and spent over 40 hours lovingly restoring our jumps — determined that every show should be a day where every photo is a memory worth framing. But as much as we’ve patched and cared for them… some things have simply given all they can. They’ve served us well, and now we want to give you equipment that looks as wonderful as you all deserve ✨
Handy Pony and games couldn’t run this year — our gear was just too tired. But we have wonderful news: we’ve secured a judge for next season — and now we need the equipment to match 💫
So we’re reaching out to build something beautiful together:
✨ New jumps and poles — picture-perfect, fresh, and ready for every photo
✨ Bright, fun games & Handy Pony equipment — so those days can return
✨ Proper ring fencing — giving our space the lovely, finished look it deserves
✨ new perpetual trophies to replace broken ones
And doing it all our way — we commit to using local business for all our purchases putting every penny back into to the community and we partnered with nearby universities and colleges helping students to work on projects that build real-world skills.
This is about growing — making every corner of our club shine, for every rider, every pony, every family — whether you come to jump, play, show, or simply belong ✨
Every gift, big or small, and every share — helps us make those bright, happy memories together 🫂🌈
