As I’m coming to the end of another hectic week I find myself incredibly grateful for my regular clients who support me week in and week out

With another busy looking week next week with some clipping thrown in on a rare spare day I still find myself with a few gaps in my Calendar

So if you need an extra pair of hands on the yard around your working hours or even want someone to exercised your horse during the week whilst your battling the daylight hours around shifts

It seems my winter calendar is already starting to fill up quickly with people getting ahead of the dark nights

No job to big or small

I am fully insured, over 10 years experience in professional setting and you never have to worry about the standard of care your horse is recieving

I have 4 very happy regular clients now and hope to add more to my weekly visits

Such a busy week and not to be outdone, next week is looking a bit of the same

With the weather getting a bit crap you would be forgiven for wanting a morning or evening off around work

I am available for a regular weekly visits or one of trips to give yourself a break

Yard work £15 an hour
Hacking £15 for 30 minutes
Schooling £20 for 30 minutes

Anything else please drop me a message for quotes

Available for cover in dalton/barrow/ulverston/walney and surrounding areas

Trips further afield possible but will incur a fuel charge

After over a week of holiday cover where I had my favourite sentence from the owner once back

‘I had the best time ever, I could actually relax for once and not worry about if my horses were being looked after’

I’ve got a slightly more chilled end of the week and I’ve been back behind my favourite grey ears today

You would be forgiven for not knowing Harriet is an ex racer she’s so chilled

Buckle rides, solo hacks, little bursts of trot on a loose rein

She’s done amazing with her mounting block work and now stands like a rock whilst you get on, sort yourself out and do your girth up before heading off on your little adventures

She’s an absolute cracker, such a sweet mare 🖤

What a busy few weeks it’s been, holiday cover is coming to a close tomorrow with a few days off before jumping onto the next

Some days can be super long and tiring especially when the weather isn’t great and your trying to squeeze in shows with your own or a day at the races but it makes it all worth it seeing progress with the horses you work with

Another day behind the grey ears today after a morning of holiday cover, trip to the horsey shop and riding my own

She’s a cracking horse is our Harriet 🖤

I still have availability for regular clients or one offs whether that be yard work or ridden work but my autumn diary is already quickly filling up

Autumn is not far off now and I’m here to make your days that little bit easier, even if it’s just an evening visit so you can go home straight after a long shift at work have a nice shower and early night knowing your horse is being well looked after

The best girl out on her hack yesterday

She loves a little tootle around walney and starting to introduce small bursts of trot into her work whilst out

One handed, loose reins and she listens perfectly

Would not of guessed she’s an Exracer with how laid back she is, she’s such an easy and enjoyable mare

Many of you don’t know me personally but you know Vinny

So I thought it would be an appropriate time to fully introduce myself

My name is Chloe, I am 29 years old, started riding at the grand old age of 14 and left the area at 16 to start my career with horses before moving back at 27

In that time I achieved

Level 2 horse care: Distinction
Level 3 work based diploma in horse management: Pass
foundation degree in equine management: Distinction*
BA (hons) equine science and management: 1st

Also during this time I’ve worked on a vast array of yards picking up so much real life hands on experience around horses in professional settings

livery/producing yard
Show jumping yard
Showing yard
Trekking center
Livery/riding school

Since moving back home and realising there isn’t many options to head straight to working on a yard full time I spent the past 2 years working other jobs and passing my driving test before taking the leap to start up freelance

I absolutely love working with horses, I’ve always done it and I never stay in normal jobs for long before returning back to them

I love working with green and young horses and I think this is what lead me to having the wonderful Vinny on loan learning about his past and what he was going through when I took him on

I’m pleased to say he’s doing amazing and we are having a very successful time this year compared to where we started

I do still work part time in a kitchen but when work allows I plan on leaving that role to focus on freelance full time.

For those who also don’t know me, I also own my own equestrian clothing brand Mount Up Equestrian making me a very busy person most days but I absolutely love it

I have 3 amazing regular clients I couldn’t thank enough for trusting me with their horses and lots of meeting new clients recently and holiday cover booked in

Been an amazing few months since starting up and I’m sure it’s only going to get better 🖤

Such a busy day today

An 8am start and an 8pm finish 🫣

4 clients and 9 ponies between them

Am and pm yard cover for one

Pm cover for another

Field check, in hand walk and poo picking for the third

And then the lovely Harriet who has become a regular on our page was a nice hack

I adore being able to work with so many wonderful horses and there’s nothing better then a busy day

I will be starting to calendar my months and posting them on here so my clients know what availability I have and can book in where there’s space

I’m incredibly blessed to be able to say I am getting busier by the day and what started as me giving freelance a go not thinking much of it, I’m now finding myself with more busy long days then without

Thankyou to all the wonderful clients who trust me to look after your horses. Without you I wouldn’t be able to do what I love
