I can’t believe that just a few days before the fire started I was leading two Wellness Walks to Ryvoan and Loch an Uaine 😓

First signs of recovery spotted after the Glenmore wildfire.

Damage from the wildfire is significant and the cleanup and regeneration will take time. Some areas remain closed while we assess and make them safe again for visitors.

There's a long way to go but the slow and steady journey towards recovery has begun as these early glimpses of regrowth show.

If you're visiting this weekend, be sure to pay attention to signs and avoid closed areas. Please don’t fly drones in Glenmore Forest Park while thermal drone operations continue to monitor remaining hotspots.

Our destinations can get busy. If you're arriving by car, please park responsibly and be sure to have a plan B, just in case.

Saturday afternoon was spent exploring An Lochan Uaine and Ryvoan Bothy with two rainbow families. We found bugs, berries and flesh eating plants along the way which kept everyone entertained! 🏳️‍🌈
