We are underway with our Thursday evening girls and boys sessions, and the standard was excellent in Anstruther yesterday! 👏🏼

2015-2018 born players attend tomorrow, at Cupar Astro and then we get the ball rolling in St Andrews on Monday evening ⚽️

There are a few spaces available at a couple of the classes, should anyone wish to join us on the pitch.

Elite Technique will be delivering coaching sessions in Cupar on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th August.

Both sessions will run between 10-12pm at Cupar Astro pitch.

Our training groups are suitable for players born in 2012 and younger. ⚽️

Another very commendable effort from those that could join us between the lines this week!

We were blessed with proper summer weather and the players delivered a wonderful experience for one another by embracing challenge and smiling their way through it.

Monday 10th - Friday 14th August

Duffus Park, Cupar - Sessions running 10-12pm.

Our recent Cupar Training week featured a local coach, who returned to the very football pitch where his grassroots playing days began.. ⚽️

Austin MacPhee, founder of AM Soccer, is enjoying a fine spell in the English Premier League, and he kindly dropped in for a couple of days to observe the next generation of local talent. Austin took the opportunity to chat to the kids about where his journey started and the work he has since done to shape his career.

From proudly pulling on the Cupar YMCA jersey, to coaching Portugal at a World Cup Finals Tournament, there was a lot to talk about. ✨

The questions were excellent and we heard about..

• How good CR7 actually is 👏🏼

• Was the game different when you played in the olden days? ☺️

• Bernardo Silva proving how amazing smaller players are, among so many impressive athletes.

• Developing confidence with Marcus Rashford around scoring from and delivering set plays.

• The things you need to do to be able to work your way through the levels of the game.

Our hope is that this visit will in some small way, inspire our youngsters towards an exciting journey of their own in football. We can safely say that the pitch was packed full of skill and enthusiasm again this week!
