Cumbernauld Colts Blue Girls 2016’s

A busy weekend with both the Cumbernauld Colts & Cowie United festivals.

Lots of great football played and a hell of an amount of running, not one passenger the full weekend they were all outstanding!!

We are looking forward to the remainder of the season as we push on to continually improve the girls and a massive thanks to the parents for their support on the sidelines 👏🏼

First festival of the summer for the girls @ Greengairs YFC Festival.

Great day with all the girls, really good games. For the girls having not played together properly for the last few weeks to coming back and playing so well with each other, they should all be proud of themselves.

6 wins out of 7 games is a fantastic result!

CUMBERNAULD COLTS V BSA

Our last game of the season before the summer break - unfortunately our first loss of the season but the girls didn’t give up the full time, it was a great game to watch and to see the girls step it up even more is fantastic!! They always do everything that is asked from them.

It’s been a great first half of the season and we are all hopeful that the 2nd half will be the same when we return from the summer break ☀️⚽️

Players of the week & match were awarded to all the players as they all play a massive part in the team 💙💛

CUMBERNAULD COLTS V DUNBLANE

Another great game where all the girls had to work together to be able to score, it isn’t always about the person who scores the goals it’s also the work before that we love to see.

Dunblane didn’t give up and they put us through our paces but another victory in the bag 🎉

One more game in the league before we finish for summer break - let’s keep it up girls!

Unfortunately our league game didn’t go ahead but we managed to sort a friendly at short notice..

It was a tough game for the girls and they had to work for each goal but we like a challenge 😉

The determination from all the girls was clear from the first kick of the ball, it was a great game!

A fantastic game today, only had 7 players which meant no subs - all the girls worked tirelessly attacking and defending the full game.

It was good to see the girls change positions from what they are used to and show everyone how versatile they can play.
