👏 Well done to Geo, who received the recognition of Players’ Player of the Match from her teammates for Sundays game away to Renfrew — thoroughly deserved.

Although the result wasn’t what we would have hoped for, as a development team we set ourselves targets, identify what went well and what didn’t, and then use that to move forward and improve. We develop.

Geo started the game on the wing, doing her fair share of defending while always making herself available as an option for a pass. Her movement and work rate created several opportunities from the wide area.

In the second half, she moved into a more forward role and went on to bag herself a hat-trick! ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Great communication, attitude and work ethic throughout the game made Geo a very worthy choice for the Players’ Player award, as recognised by her teammates.

👏 Well deserved, Geo! Keep developing and keep working hard! 💪⚽️

A tough scoreline Sunday, but one I'm incredibly proud of the girls for. We chose to give our development players the opportunity to play, compete and gain valuable experience against a very strong side. The girls showed great character, never stopped working and continued to compete right until the final whistle. The result may have not gone our way, but the performance and attitude give us plenty to be proud of.
