Last friendly of the season , the reserves had an exciting game today . Football truly is a game of 2 halfes , belive it or not the reserves were 3-1 up at halftime which is amazing for the lads in there 2nd friendly as a team. Fitness levels got the best of us coming into the final third of the game . But with pre season its all about getting every player minuites on the pitch and experimenting with positioning and tactics...

all in all was a good game and we are very proud of the reserves , pippin athletico managed to claw a 7-4 result from being 3-1 down, i think the lads can take inspiration from that and lessons have been learnt , football can go either way if you want it badly enough..

As we all know this club is no stranger to big scorelines , Not the ideal result today for the Reserves , but for a group of strangers playing a team game for the 1st time today the scoreline dosent give the lads justice . Missing key players in crucial parts of the pitch was always going to make it a tough day at the office... it was a graft for the lads but none of the less they played with their hearts on there sleeves and made sure they seen out the game... heads are being held high and the lads are ready to get stuck into their second fixture

Its never easy playing a team who have time to gel, but we move on and turn every loss into a lesson ! Atleast it wasn't double digits 👀 chin up fellas we march on

A game of 2 halfs for sure ! This sunday the 1st team took on , The allstarz went 2-0 down early in the 1st half , 2nd half we started to play much more attractive and efficient football managed to claw it back to 2-2 , final result was a well deserved 3-2 to woods . At times the lads dropped there heads and composure... but all in all a good performance against a well organised afc woods.

The lads absolutely played there socks of today, ropey start as always but eventually the lads pulled through , the boys were unlucky to have a goal disallowed too.
