Congratulations to our scholarship winners of Lamon Ballet Associates 2025/26, Alayna & James✨

Each year, we proudly select a student to receive the Lamon Ballet Associates Scholarship, recognizing outstanding dedication and hard work throughout the term. This year, we are thrilled to award our Upper Class scholarship to Alayna, who trains with Chater Dance Academy.

Since joining us, Alayna has consistently given 100% to every single class, and her incredible growth is evident in every lesson. She approaches class with maturity, always welcoming feedback and immediately applying it to her technique.

Alayna has been an absolute pleasure to teach this year. We cannot wait to continue working with her this September to watch her talent develop even further. Well done Alayna! 🩰

While we normally award a single Lamon Ballet Associates Scholarship each year, the exciting growth of our program has allowed us to offer two.

Our second scholarship is incredibly special to us, as it is generously sponsored by Mrs Georgina Lamon; mother to Julie and Nonna to Sophie. Mrs Lamon wished for this award to recognise a dancer who demonstrates unwavering dedication, a profound love for ballet, and the aspiration to pursue a future career in dance.

We are delighted to present this special scholarship to James, who trains with On Your Toes Dance Academy.

James has been a joy to teach this year, fully immersing himself in his training and showing remarkable growth. We are so excited to welcome him back in September to continue working hard and reaching new heights together! Well done James!✨

Some photos from yesterdays session at Lamon Ballet Associates. We started our fantastic day with some conditioning work in the morning with Sophie, followed by class all together! Everyone worked really hard - thank you 🤍

We then split into our groups where our Uppers learned the La Esmeralda variation (with props!) and our Lowers learned the Fairy Doll variation.✨

What a fantastic session we had yesterday at Lamon Ballet Associates!🫶

We began the day with conditioning work, then straight into ballet, working hard with our barre work and ballet technique in the centre, learning some tricky new steps!

Our Uppers finished the day learning Gulnara’s variation from Le Corsaire and our Lowers the Chopiniana variation from Les Sylphides, performed to our wonderfully supportive audience of parents, grandparents and siblings. It’s great to have new students joining us almost every month too!

We had a fantastic March session at Lamon Ballet Associates last Sunday!

We began our day with a warm up and floor barre focusing on core strength and flexibility. Then our lower group worked on their technique particularly glissades and pas de bo***ée. Our upper group started with some centre barre and then all things turns preparing for their repertoire in our afternoon class.

Both groups learnt a reportoire piece from the ballet Paquita. Our uppers learnt the 4th variation, and our lowers learnt the variation no 1 moderato.

Super well done to all of students this month, you all worked very hard!🤍
