Conwy Borough U9’s

So proud of this team today, being the unlucky losing super cup finalists in the Mynydd ISA tournament, facing the heartache of losing on penalties for the first time.

Second final of tournament season and across both finals to lose on penalties here after losing by a solitary goal last time, unbelievable how far this team has come in the short few months they started playing.

Great day today, as we had the first end of season awards for the Conwy U8’s.

As a new team who only started playing games properly in January, it was good to acknowledge the progress they have all made in this short period of time, as vast majority have never played for a team before and can see the progress week on week and ready to kick on for next season.

A fantastic day at the Conwy Borough FC Juniors tournament day in glorious weather.

The U8’s were up against tough opposition all day, but where able to keep their motivation up and were able to win a tough Conference league semi final match and only lost in the final by a single goal.

Fantastic to see for a team who have only formed in recent months and the great strides they are making.

Thanks to all volunteers today and also to the opponents and coaches who played the game in the right spirits.
