๐ Weekend Race Successes! ๐
A huge congratulations to our members who achieved fantastic results this weekend!
๐ Mary, Tal and Karen completed the Barmouth 10K, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way and representing the club brilliantly.
โญ A special mention goes to our superstar, Leila! โญ
Leila conquered the incredible 70-mile The UK's biggest ultramarathon, Ratrace Challenge through historic Hadrian'sย Wallย country in England.ย Finishing in just under 20!
In Leila's own words:
"It was by far the hardest thing I have ever done. It was amazing and beautiful in parts, but the last 7 miles were the hardest miles."
What an outstanding achievement and a true testament to determination, resilience, and mental strength.
Even more inspiring, Leila completed this challenge to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer. Her original fundraising target was ยฃ1,000, but thanks to the incredible support of family, friends, and the community, she has already raised an amazing ยฃ2,500!
From everyone at the club, we salute you, Leila. We are incredibly proud of what you have achieved. ๐
