Last Wednesday in Competition Class and it was Rock’n’Roll time! 💃🏼🕺🏼

With exams and competitions coming up, we took it right back to basics — flicks, hand positions, partnering and plenty of practice!

From our beginners through to our advanced dancers, everyone was getting stuck in and working on those all-important foundations… because even the best dancers need to go back to basics! 🔥

A little bit of technique, a lot of dancing and plenty of partnering practice! ❤️‍🔥

Dance Exams! 🎓✨

It’s almost that time again! Our dancers will soon be taking their Disco Freestyle & Rock’n’Roll dance exams with the ISTD. 💃🕺

We take part in dance examinations every six months, giving our dancers regular goals to work towards and the opportunity to celebrate their progress and achievements.

In our recreational classes, we work on ISTD technique and set dances every week, helping our dancers build their personal, technical and performance skills — as well as preparing them to take part in ISTD competitions.

Whether they’re taking their very first exam or working towards the next level, it’s fantastic to see our dancers grow in confidence, develop their skills and progress through the grades! ✨
