Today we faced a great team and, unfortunately, the result didn’t go our way. But we should be proud of the effort, the courage and the commitment we showed.

Football doesn’t always give you the result you want, but every game gives you something to learn from. Losing teaches lessons that winning sometimes can’t. The important thing is that we take those lessons, learn from them and use them to become better.

Now we have Saturday to look forward to. Let’s use today as motivation and inspiration to come back stronger. Think about what we’ve learnt, what we can improve and what we can take into the next game.

Most importantly, believe in our team. Believe in the person beside you. Help each other, encourage each other and keep working together. We are a family before we are teammates, and when things get difficult, that’s when we need each other the most.

Progress is never a straight line. There will be wins, losses, good days and difficult days. What matters is how we respond.

So heads up, learn from today, bring that hunger into Saturday and give everything for each other. We still have a journey ahead of us, and together we can fight to go through to the next stage of the competition.

Our First Game of the Season 🏆⚽

Saturday marks the beginning of a new season and a special journey together in the Scottish Clyfa Cup.

To the players: go out there, give everything you have, work hard for each other and, most importantly, enjoy yourselves. Football is about competing, but it’s also about smiles, friendships, memories and being brave enough to give things a go.

Remember, progress is not a linear process. There will be great days, difficult days, mistakes, setbacks and moments when everything clicks. What matters is that you keep learning, keep believing and keep moving forward.

Talent can take you a long way, but hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. So run for each other, encourage each other, listen to each other and never give up on the person beside you.

And above everything else, remember what we are: a family. Be friends before you are teammates. Celebrate each other’s successes, pick each other up when things don’t go right, and make sure nobody walks off that pitch feeling alone.

The result will take care of itself. What we can control is our attitude, our effort, our togetherness and the way we represent ourselves.

So go out there, give your best, enjoy every minute and make the first chapter of this season one to remember.
