This is what we do!

Imagine being removed from your family and taken to a new home miles away from anything you are familiar with.

This is the reality for kids in foster care.

Today we are giving away these 3 lovely Frog bikes to 3 children recently placed into care.
Let's hope that bring a little bit of joy.

This is what we do. Get involved.

Support our shop and cafe so we can continue to support the 1,700 kids in care in Lancashire.

Buy your next bike from us, buy an inner tube, buy a coffee or even a beer, it all helps.

Bowland Bikes CIC is on the lookout for a Cycle Mechanic Apprentice!
You’ll get real hands-on experience, professional training, and a Cytech level 2 qualification in Cycle Maintenance — all while being part of a friendly team that lives and breathes bikes.

👉 We’re looking for someone who:
✅ Is 16 or over
✅ Has a genuine love for cycling
✅ Wants to learn, grow, and be part of a community-driven business

We had a woom bike donated via and we have passed it on to a looked after child. For those of you who are observant this is the second cycle that we have donated to this family.
Please spread the word and ask foster carers in Lancashire to get in touch with us if they would like a bike for a looked after child.
