⚽️💜 **FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON!** 💜⚽️

And what a match to kick things off! 🙌🐺

Our Clitheroe Wolves U12 Purples started incredibly strongly, taking a commanding lead and controlling the match superbly throughout the first half. The girls played some fantastic football, worked brilliantly together and really showed what this team is capable of! 🔥⚽️💜

Unfortunately, the second half didn’t quite go our way. We missed a few chances, lost some of the momentum we’d built, and our opponents managed to fight their way back into the game and take the win.

It was a tough result to take after such a brilliant start, but every single one of the girls worked hard and kept going right until the final whistle. 💪💜

First games of the season are always difficult — there are things to learn, things to work on and plenty of positives to take away. We learn from it, build on that fantastic first-half performance and come back stronger. 🐺💜

⚽💜 **Clitheroe Wolves U11 Purples – Presentation Day 2026** 💜⚽

What a fantastic way to finish the season! 🎉 Today was our end-of-season Presentation Day, packed full of friendly matches ⚽, games 🎯, raffles 🎟️ and, of course, plenty of trophies 🏆.

The girls should be incredibly proud of everything they have achieved this season. Throughout the year they have shown excellent skill, determination, teamwork and sportsmanship, whilst making sure there has always been plenty of fun and laughter along the way 😊💜. Every single player thoroughly deserved the awards they received today.

A huge thank you also goes to our amazing coaches 👏. Without their dedication, commitment, patience and countless hours of volunteering, we simply wouldn't have the successful team we are today. Your hard work is truly appreciated by all the players and families.

A fantastic team performance from Clitheroe Wolves U11 Purples in our final game of the season, ending with a really strong win to top things off. The girls worked hard from start to finish and showed just how much they’ve grown together as a team this year. 👏⚽

Special shout out to Matilda, our Player of the Match, who had her best game of the season! 🌟 Her effort, determination and confidence were brilliant to see — thoroughly deserved!

Now it’s time for a well-earned rest before we come back refreshed, ready to work hard and excited for the new season ahead. Proud of every single player 💜🐺

🌞 Sunshine and smiles for Clitheroe Wolves U11 Purple Girls today as the team came away with a fantastic victory! 💜⚽

It was brilliant to see everything we’ve been working on in training being put into practice on the pitch, with some excellent teamwork and passing throughout the game.

Player of the Match goes to Isla ⭐ who drove the team up the pitch brilliantly and delivered perfect assists for our goals. A superb performance all round!

Well done girls — keep working hard and enjoying your football! 🐺💜

The sun was shining and the pitch was dry for what turned out to be an extremely close game! 🌞⚽ It didn’t quite go our way this time, but the effort and determination from every single player was incredible. 💪👏

A huge well done to all the girls who gave 100% from start to finish – you should be really proud! 💜🙌

Sadly, it wasn’t our day for the win, but every single one of our girls gave it their ALL 💪💜 Battling from start to finish with 100% effort, determination, and team spirit — we couldn’t be prouder! 👏

After the Easter break, it was great to get the girls back into the swing of things with a club friendly against the U11 Pinks. It was a tough, closely fought match, but the Purples dug deep and came away as victors! 💪

To top it off, we finished with a fun penalty shootout — plenty of smiles all round! 😁

A huge well done to Lexie, our Player of the Match! ⭐ Her positivity and determination really helped turn things around in the second half — an inspiring performance!

Brilliant effort from all the girls — keep shining both on and off the pitch! ⚽✨

Match Report – U11 Clitheroe Wolves Purple v' Lancashire Spitfires 🐺⚽️

What a fantastic game for the Clitheroe Wolves U11 Girls today! We came away as winners against an equally talented side, which made it an exciting and closely fought match from start to finish. Both teams showed great skill and determination, making it a brilliant game to watch for everyone on the sidelines.

A special mention to Rose, who scored the winning goal in a super close game — perfectly positioned at just the right moment to finish the chance and seal the victory! 🌟

Player of the Match goes to Isla, who drove the ball forward all game, worked tirelessly across the pitch, scored, and played her role exactly as expected. A well-deserved recognition for a top performance!

Proud of the whole team for their effort, teamwork, and positive attitude. Onwards and upwards, Wolves! 💜💪💜

🏆 Xmas Cup Final – U11 Girls 🏆

What a battle from our Purples in today’s Xmas Cup Final!

Played in awful conditions against a very strong, well-organised side, the girls showed incredible determination and character. Although the result didn’t go our way, they battled right to the final whistle — and that’s all you can ever ask. You can’t win them all, but you can always be proud.

⭐ Player of the Match: Chloe
An outstanding performance — she ran her socks off and has come on leaps and bounds over the season. Well deserved!

Now it’s time for a well-earned Christmas break for all our girls to relax, recharge, and come back ready to tackle the new year.
