If you’re an outdoor instructor with at least one NGB award, or a Sports Therapist / Physio looking to expand your professional toolkit, this residential First Aid Instructor & Assessor Course will give you everything you need to start delivering your own Outdoor / Activity / Forest School First Aid courses, alongside Workplace First Aid and BLS training via our centre approvals.
Join us in Porthmadog, North Wales for a 5‑day immersive, self‑catering instructor programme designed for people who want to teach confidently, assess effectively, and run high‑quality first aid training across outdoor, community and workplace environments. There is a requierment of 8 hours pre-course reading followed by 6 hours of online consolodation of your trainer portfolio. There is a online exam Pass or Fail on the last day of the face to face training, covering regulatory standards, GDPR, Learner styles, assessment practices.

Join any of our upcoming Outdoor First Aid courses in Cornwall, Monmoutshire or Gwynedd, ideal for walkers, instructors, leaders and anyone working in remote or rural settings. Each course includes 6 hours of relevant outdoor first aid online pre‑course learning, followed by two full days of practical, scenario‑based training in the outdoors.
On successful completion, learners are awarded the Outdoor First Aid (OFA) and Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certification, valid for three years and recognised across the UK.
Your course fee also includes attendance at our recommended annual refresher training days in years one and two, helping you maintain confidence and competence before renewal.

Emergency Care First Responder (RQF), Requalifcation course 19th to 21st August in Chepstow.
