Today we said goodbye to one of our own, a true member of the DH family.

He was a kind, caring gentleman with a cheeky sense of humour, who never missed the chance to wind the barmaids up. We loved him for it.

You could always find him in his favourite seat, enjoying a Belhaven Best while watching the football. It just won’t be the same without him.

We asked a few of our regulars tonight to describe him, and one word kept coming up… LEGEND.

And that’s exactly how he’ll always be remembered- a true DH legend.
