HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES 🧛‍♂️🎸🔥 I WAS IN ROCK HEAVEN LAST NIGHT! 🤘🎸🔥

I LOVE rock music, so last night at Cardiff Castle was honestly my idea of heaven! 🤘🧑‍🎤🎸✊

And OMG… ALICE COOPER! What a legend! 🤘🔥 If I have even half of his energy when I’m his age, I’ll be doing VERY well! 😂 He was absolutely phenomenal!

Then we had Joe Perry from Aerosmith on guitar 🎸🔥 and the incredible drummer doing a set in between the whole night was just EPIC!

And then… JOHNNY DEPP. 🏴‍☠️🎸🤘

My absolute crush! I was basically thinking… I am actually breathing the same air as Johnny Depp! 🤣🤣

I loved the AC/DC nods to Bon Scott as a massive AC/DC fan and David Bowie and other legends; that was my favourite part of the show.

At 49, I’m not sitting around waiting for life to happen.

Life is for living. Don’t wait for tomorrow. Go make the memories. ❤️

I LOVE a castle. I LOVE Wales. And give me a coastline and a trail to explore and I’m happy! 😂❤️

So when I found Llansteffan Castle, I knew we had to go.

📍 Llansteffan Castle, West Wales

I set off 530am and started down at Llansteffan Beach and honestly, the beach is STUNNING. 😍🌊

Then i followed the trails, heading up towards the castle, with the most gorgeous views across the coastline and estuary.

And the castle itself? Nearly 900 years old! 🏰 It dates back to the late 12th century and sits on an ancient Iron Age hillfort.
BUT… the unexpected bonus?
💧 St Anthony’s Well.
I genuinely didn't even know this was here! A historic holy well tucked away along the trail, with an old tradition of dropping pins into the well for luck in love. ❤️

So this little adventure ticked EVERY box for me:
🏖️ A stunning beach
🥾 Trails to explore
💧 A well I didn't even know existed
🏰 A nearly 900-year-old castle
🌊 Beautiful Welsh coastline
❤️ And another reason to fall in love with Wales

I could explore Welsh castles and coastlines forever. Give me a pair of trainers and somewhere new to discover and I’m there! 😂

What a bloody run this morning!

Off track, on track, across the sand, along the coastline just exploring and seeing where the route took me.

This is exactly why I love trail running and the Welsh coastline. Getting outside, exploring, finding new routes and discovering just how beautiful our Welsh coastline is.

And there is SO much of it still to explore. 🌊🥾

The Carmarthenshire coastline runs through some incredible scenery, with the Wales Coast Path taking you through beaches, dunes, estuary and coastal countryside. And Pembrey Country Park is next on the adventure list, with the huge Cefn Sidan Beach stretching out along Carmarthen Bay. 🏖️🌊

Pembrey this weekend… HERE WE COME! 🥾🌊❤️

Because this is what I'm all about now.

🎂❤️ OUR BIRTHDAY! ❤️🎂Today is a very special one because it’s my 49th birthday AND my little girl Lois’s 8th birthday! 🥹💕

I had her on my 41st birthday, so we’ve shared this special day together ever since.

My last rodeo in my forties before the BIG 5-0! 😂

Being 49 has definitely made me think about how quickly time passes. So this year, more than ever, I want to cherish every single day.

Happy 8th birthday to my beautiful Lois. My birthday twin, my baby girl and one of the greatest gifts of my life. 🎂💗

Here’s to the final year in my forties.. more cold-water adventures, castles to explore, trails to run, strength to build, goals to chase and a whole lot more LIFE to live. 🤍🏰🌊🏃‍♀️💪✨

Dan-yr-Ogof 📍 National Showcaves of Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

One of the UK’s greatest cave experiences 🦕⛰️.and what a day absolutely BLOWN Away today..

I honestly can’t believe it took me this long to come back!

Like many people in Wales, I first visited when I was around 8 or 9 years old on a school trip. Back then, I was all about the dinosaurs 🦖…and not really interested in the history.

But returning today, I was completely blown away by the incredible underground world beneath our feet.

Often regarded as one of Britain’s most impressive cave systems, Dan-yr-Ogof is the ultimate family adventure and wow-factor experience.

✨ Explore the three incredible show caves:
🪨 Dan-yr-Ogof Cave huge chambers, underground rivers, waterfalls and amazing rock formations.
⛪ Cathedral Cave my absolute favourite ✨ Walking through this enormous cavern while the orchestral music echoed around the cave was a proper goosebumps moment. It was honestly magical.
🦴 Bone Cave where Ice Age animal remains were discovered, connecting us back thousands of years.🦌 Red deer bone the oldest bone found there, dating back over 7,000 years!!

What makes this place even more incredible is the history behind it. In 1912, the Morgan brothers discovered this hidden underground world, never knowing the wonder they had uncovered.

If you haven’t visited Dan-yr-Ogof yet… put it on your bucket list. ✨ You also have the farm park right next door. Perfect to entertained my two girls.

Hands down best day out in South Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 for fun /adventure and for myself a history geek !
