So we managed to bring a cheeky trophy home from the Charity Herne Bay tournament held yesterday. Well done to the 3 teams we entered for a good cause. Roll on 26/27 season with hopes of getting more silverware 💚⚽️ COYE

This was a tough opposition on Friday night and although the scoreline looks bad we did have plenty of chances but just didn't deliver. A bad Friday night at the office but in our defence that was only our 2nd game as a team and Hamstreet had the upper hand with the quality.

What a turnaround this game turned out to be today after going 1-0 behind by half time. This only gave us the fight to turn the game around and score 6 great goals to end with a comfortable lead. Some tidy football played today from the team, nice passing and great attacking football ⚽️. I gave the teamtalk of my life to get the players pumped and ready for action and it pulled off. Some great saves to keep them at bay and we stayed cool playing from the back. Our fitness done us favours as the opposition started to tire out 2nd half. By no means was this a walkover we just kept our foot on the gas and used our experience and audacity to clench a comfortable win. Onto the next round of the Kent Veterans Cup 💚👌👍👊

Thats the 1st game of the season done and dusted. We beat Whitstable Masters 1-0. This was a tough game and the opposition have definitely improved since last season. All the Eagles worked their socks off to get the 3 points. Great defending, clean sheet for the keeper and the attackers kept working hard throughout.
