Mark your calendar for our Croquet Open Day on Sunday, 3rd May at 2pm to 5pm. Fingers crossed for dry weather at this outdoor event. Free entry - everyone welcome!

Today we visited Ramsgate for a day of friendly croquet and superb food and drink for lunch. Thirty one players from both clubs formed red and blue teams to play five rounds of 7 hoop games on the 4 lawns. Red team emerged as overall winners after many hard fought games. Thanks to Ramsgate for being such good hosts.

Congratulations to Ian Harrow who won the hard fought final against Christopher Wacher.
Thirteen entrants participated in two rounds before lunch in which everyone played, using the Advantage handicap system. These rounds led to Giles & Ian, Robert & Henry, Ashley & Christopher and Jeremy & Sue going through to the quarter-finals. This was followed by very close semi-finals between Robert & Christopher and Ian & Jeremy.

Thanks to all who took part in the Internal Doubles Golf Croquet Tournament today. Congratulations to Henry Williams and Sheila Redwood in playing four excellent games to win the Frank Hughes Cup.

Despite a very poor forecast, the weather was fine on the day. Twelve entrants participated in two rounds before lunch in which everyone played. These rounds led to Steve & Ian, Robert & Rosie, Sheila & Henry and Ashley & Mark going through to the semi-finals and a very close final between Rosie & Robert (last year's winners) and Sheila & Henry, who won 7-6.

A good start to the season for our team in the Golf Croquet H League for a 6-3 win against Sydenham. Congratulations to Ashley (Captain), Henry, Christopher and Ian. Thanks to the opponent team from Sydenham for the photo and an enjoyable match.

We all had a fun time at our recent open day event, last Sunday. Thanks to Pam, Heather and Coral, who baked the yummy cakes, served with tea or coffee. Members and guests enjoyed playing croquet together, bathed in sunshine!

We recently enjoyed our club's season opener. Thanks to our club secretary, Roger Loram, who organised a friendly series of games, based on golf croquet. Helen emerged as a worthy winner by the end of the day. Ian barbequed tasty Cumberland sausages, served in bread rolls for lunch. Roger also took credit for arranging the sunny weather!😎
