Another fantastic evening of Touch Rugby at Holland Sports & Social Club with the Barton Bandits!
It was great to see good numbers at our junior session. We worked on a number of skills, including the benefits of the switch play, and it was brilliant to see everyone putting it into practice with such enthusiasm and effort.
We do not often get the opportunity to capture video clips, but I managed to get one last night. A nice drive forward, a great strike at the line creating a two-on-one opportunity, and just a final pass that did not quite come off. So close, but a great example of the skills we're developing.
Our adult session also attracted excellent numbers despite a few regulars being unavailable. We had a great mix of younger and more experienced players challenging each other throughout the evening. After a 20-30 minute warm-up and skills session, we played for around an hour with short breaks, making it a fantastic workout for all involved. Safe to say everyone was feeling it by the end!
