Kestrels finished their season off in style today with our second piece of silverware. The joy on the boys faces is priceless and memories have been made. Great for Jack to win player of the match in the final, voted for by the referee. We know how good he is but great when somebody else confirms it. Sad day today at Kestrels as we said goodbye to one of our original players, Teddy. Unfortunately, Teddy now lives too far away to make playing for us tenable. He is a very popular player on the team and loved by his team-mates. He has been a brilliant team-mate, always encouraging and supporting everybody. First player to congratulate and first player with a supportive word when needed. He's also a really, really good footballer. We will miss you Teddy!

Our winning penalty from today's final. Boys did incredibly well against a team from six divisions higher. This was our seventh penalty so nerves were frayed and the tension was palpable. Fair play to Eddie for stepping up and smashing it home.
