In case this is of any interest to anyone π
With many schools having inset days at the start of September, we thought it would be the perfect time to run a netball camp.
The camp is suitable for all abilities but please note this isn't a performance camp. We will focus on team building, acquiring new skills and match play. The most important thing to us is that the players enjoy the day.
Get in touch for more details and to book on.

Some of our U12's (and our junior coach) had an amazing day of Netball thanks to Avon Netball Association! Some fun out on the Court led by the fabulous Sue followed by watching England take on Northern Ireland. This was the first time I've seen people do the macarena during the interval π€£. A massive thank you to all the ladies involved in the planning and running of today, all the little touches you added were fantastic! Was great seeing the walking netballers too, the Foxes loved it.

Massive well done to our U18s this week, they finished their 1st ever summer season playing against adults. Didn't manage to get the win but they never failed to get some amazing goals in every match and show that they are well on their way. This has been a great way for them to prepare and get game practice in for the future and for them to learn where their strengths are and also where they are struggling, ready to work on next season. Very proud of them all.
Enjoy your summer!

Last night was an interesting match as our U18s took on their Coach's netball team. They held their own and got some great turnovers. Every match they are learning and growing as a team. They should be proud of themselves! Well done girls and congratulations to Bristol Bluebirds on your 38-18 win.

We proudly celebrated our U12 league team this week. They have done so well and impressed us with their resilience, improvement and their team spirit. They are a lovely team on and off the court and always leave matches with smiles and grace, win or lose!
A massive well done to Minnie for earning overall Players Player this season. π
Many people believe that behind every great player is a supportive parent/role model and we agree! All the training sessions and games we are lucky enough to have some great parents that not only drive them but are also fantastic cheerleaders!
This team is supported by their coach, a junior coach and by multiple DBS responsible adults that give up their time in rain or shine. One of these adults is also our safeguarding lead and helps with admin behind the scenes. It was great to celebrate them as a club along with the players as couldn't do it without them.
Hope you all have a great summer break and a massive thank you from the coach for such generous gifts and heartfelt speech π₯°

The sun was shining for our Foxes social meet up this week to finish the season off. It was great fun seeing so many braving the death slide; from some of our youngest players up to a few teens and even a couple of dad's gave it a go π€£. We heard lots of laughter and even some singing from the players.
A massive thank you to all that turned up, it was a pleasure to see some great bonding and not just from the players but their families too.
A special thank you for the generous gifts and cards given to the coach, safeguarding officer and the junior coach π₯°.
Once again we had many offers from parents to help out with set up/tidying up/ monitoring so thank you all, it makes a massive difference and helps make the club thrive! ππΌ

What a great way to end the season with our home educating groups. Our U12 Wolves and Teen Wolves all came together for a social meet up at the park. Played games, ate plenty of sugary treats and the parents all got to chat and laugh together. We were even lucky with just missing the downpour π

Last night both our Foxes groups had their last netball session of the season.
Our U12's got to enjoy some 90's pop music in their warm up and followed it with some fantastic game play. The older players all got individual aspects to work on ready to become U14' s next season whilst the younger ones got to show off just how far they have come and worked on their communication.
Our Teen group got a special treat with a few of their mums joining in the fun. A special thanks to a couple of the U12 league mums for staying on and helping TEAM MUMS along with our 2 amazing 18yr old Foxes that volunteered to be honorary Mums when needed.
The shooting game warm up got very intense and TEAM MUMS held their own. Once again the umpiring was brought into question during game play but alas I must have missed the odd obstructing and footwork from the mums π. The FOXES didn't let that stop them showing off their skills! Look forward to the social next week.

Yesterday we had our final netball sessions for both of our Wolves groups.
Our U12's played some fantastic netball and welcomed a few of the teen wolves who came to help the ones who really want to elevate their game play. The U12's have all come so far this season including the ones that had never played before, both with their skills and bonding together!
Our teens had a special session where their mums (or mother figures) were invited to come and play against them. There was a lot of laughter from everyone, lots of chat from the teens that I was biased to the mums and letting them get away with everything (probably because I absolutely was ππ€£). It was great to see them all having fun together and the teens showing off their skills. Watching the mums coming out with their 80's themed sweat bands was definitely a high light π.
Thank you to all of our Wolves and their families this season. Bring on our social meet up next week π₯°
