We’re getting ready for another season at Avonmouth! ⚫️🔴⚫️

This weekend we host our Mini/Junior Registration Day at Barracks Lane… bring your child/children down to get signed on.

📅 Sunday 6th September
⏰ 10:30am – 1pm

Pop down to the club to get everything sorted ahead of the new season.

We’ll be on hand to help with:
🏉 GMS registration
💳 Setting up annual subs
👕 Playing kit – some kit will be available to purchase on the day
💬 Coaches & club members available if you have any questions

NEW SIGNING ✍🏻

A warm welcome to the club to new signing Scott Gaulton. Scott joins from St Mary’s RFC where he’s spent the best part of 15yrs plying his trade in the front row. Scott is a loose head but can play across the front row. He is a dynamic ball carrier and aggressive in defence which will see him fit nicely into our squad! We will look forward to seeing Scott wear the black and red this season…

‘I’m really excited to be joining Avonmouth at what feels like a great time for the club. Having spent 15 years at my previous club, making the move wasn’t an easy decision, but from the moment I spoke to Avonmouth I knew it was the right fit for me.

The ambition within the club is clear, and after seeing the standards and intensity in pre-season, I’m looking forward to being part of a team that wants to compete and achieve something special.

I’m excited for the challenge ahead, to get stuck in with the lads, contribute on and off the pitch, and hopefully play my part in what promises to be a really successful season’.

NEW SIGNING ✍🏻

We’re pleased to see Luke William’s join the club this season…

Luke is a strong ball carrier who can operate at 12, 13 and 10. Luke is a uni student studying and living in Bristol & has already dabbled in combination rugby featuring for St Mary’s & Southmead. A big addition to the backline this season with an even stronger Barnet!

‘I’ve joined Avonmouth at a very exciting time. From everything so far, the standards and intensity in pre-season has been excellent and it’s clear we are all on the same page. The club has built some great momentum off the back of last years results; with our simple goal: top the league table unbeaten and back to back to back cup run!
The up-coming pre season fixtures will prove challenging against the likes of Frampton, however this will in turn set us up for the season ahead.

Off the back of my season last year with uni and club, I am excited at what this year will bring!’
