First fish over the rail today was this absolute belter of a sole for Jed.
Well done mate.

Something a lil different for the top end of the channel today a nice smalleyed ray.

Baits been hard to get hold of recently due to heat etc but the chaps at reelfun managed to find enough cracking Ragworm for the 3 anglers we had on yesterday.
Was a super busy day with them landing 30-40 bass up to around 6lb.
Also sole and eels with not a lot of time to take photos in the relentless heat again.

Been a blonde ray kinda day along with thornbacks bass congers hounds and only 1 dogfish.
Well done chaps.
Looks set for another hot week ahead so let’s see what we can find.

Summers definitely hotting 🔥 up and so is the sole fishing.
We’ve not spent much time on the sole grounds but when we have it’s been good with fish up to 3lb so far.

The local hound fishing at times has been insane with silly amounts of fish about all 10-20lb and some nice bass amongst them too. Not too many dogs or straps about but plenty of rays filling in the gaps.

Been a mental few weeks of bass fishing locally with loads being caught and bites missed 😂.

Spent most of today on the bass grounds with a steady run of species including bass until it got too rough so spent the last hour inshore to see if there’s any sole about.
This cracker turned up first cast followed by 6 missed bites.
