On Thursday at keyhnsham aa century ponds myself and Charles Holmes - Charlie organised a free session for junior beginners and new comers.
To say it was a success is a understatement. Had 14 juniors arrive with parents. Everyone had a go and caught loads of fish from small roach up to some lovely bream amd tench with the odd bar of gold.
I cant really express how humbled I felt with all the messages from parents after saying how much they have all enjoyed it. Huge thanks to Charles Fishwish Halliday for helping as well.
The smiles on everyone faces really made me realise how much I love this hobbie amd want to pass on as much info and help I can to all.

Massive thank you to everyone who has booked in for a tuition so far.
Had some amazing youngsters who have not only caught loads of fish but really listen and showed incredible skills.
Seeing the excitement and huge smiles has really been incredible.

Today ive managed to get out of maggot duty and had my ticket ready for the 1st of many yearly Merv ( topper) Haskins memorial match..
Lots of very good seasoned river anglers booked into this one so the draw would be vital. Peg 17 at chequers was my office for the day. Well it didn't quite go to plan and after 3 pike strikes in the first 5 mins and 2 hooklenghts destroyed ive managed 6lb 10oz for a section win. The river has fished amazing with lots of double figure weights throughout.
Jack Jones wone the day with over 20lb of roach at the crain section backed up with ( i think ) 8 people over 14-17lb.
Nice sum of money raised for charity.

So this is going to be my coaching and tuition page.
Ive recently passed me level 2 catching as well as my DBS and first aid training.
My aim is to get as many people I can.

My main passion is river fishing but im equally happy on lakes and canals.
