Chew Stoke Bowling Club

It is with great sadness that Chew Stoke Bowling Club announce the passing of our much loved friend and fellow bowler Celia Whitmarsh after a short illness.

Celia wil be very much missed by not only our club but Somerset County and Bowls England players as she has been so kind and supportive over many years to so many.

Please join us in sending our condolences to Tony and family.

Calling all Chew Stoke members:

We have new mats ( blue) which are now to be used for league and county games etc.

The Red ones are now to be used on a monday night, roll ups and club comps.

Great priviledge to host the regional finals of Bowls England Para singles today at Chew Stoke Bowls club

Play has been outstanding by players with varying abilities/ disabilities

Thank you to the umpires, Sue Tassell ( immediate past ladies president) for marking and the Chew Stoke members who volunteered to help run the day, all topped off with lovely weather
