Here’s a memoriam bangle that I recently made. The coins are from the year of birth of the customers parents and it’s stamped on the inside with names and dates.
I love working with old coins and it was a nice challenge getting these ones looking shiny and new again!

Regarde le ciel - look at the sky ☀️
This, appropriately, headed out today (except there aren’t any clouds right now, but still a beautiful sky!).
I haven’t made one of these in aaages! It’s so lovely when a piece you created over a decade ago still speaks to someone ☁️

On my way home from my last day at Selfridges! I really enjoyed my time there and would love to do more stuff like this, so get in contact if you’d like me to!
It was really interesting spending a few days in a huge department store, I got to do lots of great people watching and it was fascinating seeing how different characters interact with the fragrances.
I’m not a particularly experienced seamstress so it was good to practice and refine those skills. I inherited my Nan’s sewing box and I took the pin and needle holder that she had in there up with me.
It’s proper hot in London today so I treated myself to a Mr Whippy on the walk to the station.

Probably should get back to posting jewellery photos on here! 😆
Here’s some orders heading out today. Loved making the engagement ring, I can make them with any wording (or proposal) you like!
The radish doesn’t really have anything to do with anything, I just wanted to take a photo of it as it’s the first one I’ve grown this year. Also they’re just such an amazing colour!
Might do a weird crossover of my interests and start taking photos of my jewellery on my home grown vegetables 🤔

I’ve just been informed by 6 Music it’s World Art Day 🎨 You may remember I did a post in January saying my goal for this year is to do more creative things for fun, so I thought I’d do a little update!
In January I did a 4 week throwing course with - I really loved this! It’s such a great space and I really enjoyed learning how to use a pottery wheel! I tried to make a pen holder I could hang my pliers off of but it ended up being waaay too small so now it’s a lighter and sunglasses holder.
In February I did a monoprinting workshop with - this was also really fun and I love the concept of doing little workshops, being arty in a pub with your friends! Definitely want to do more things like this.
In March I decided to teach myself lino cutting and printing. I already had a lino kit from years ago (that I never used) and I bought a cheap set of erasers to practice on. In hindsight I think it would probably have been better to start out practising on something a bit bigger than a tiny rubber but this was a really inexpensive way to give it a go where it didn’t really matter if you f**k it up!
Haven’t done a lot in April as I’ve had that horrible flu bug that’s going round but I have been planting some seeds for my mini vegetable garden. Is growing seeds creative? Maybe 🌱
Need to think of more things to try for the rest of the year…
