Brighton finally beat Gatwick 🎉

It’s been a long time coming and today was finally the day.
Brighton get a well deserved victory over Gatwick on their turf.
This isn’t just a victory for the 5 players who scored and played outstanding matchplay.
This is a victory for each and every player in our club to savour.
The morale and camaraderie within our group of players is by far our greatest strength, and the envy of many of the footgolf clubs up and down the country.

No matter how any individual plays or performs, it’s the unity of the group that enables improvement and development.

Today was the reward for that.

This weekend sees us take a break from league action to take part in the South East Club Cup. The teams will battle it out first of all in a stroke play event to decide where the 6 teams place in a league format. The top 2 teams will earn themselves a semi final place in the Matchplay event to follow. The remaining 4 teams will play a quarter final match to find the remaining 2 teams for the semi final. A final will then take place to determine the overall winner of this year’s South East Cup.
