We drastically underestimate what people in their 50s and 60s are capable of.
The fitness industry talks to this age group like they need wrapping in cotton wool.
"Gentle this. Modified that. Nothing too challenging."
And yes β intelligence and adaptation matter as we age. I'm not advocating recklessness.
But I look at the people I work with, and I see strength, resilience, and capability that most 30-year-olds would envy.
I see people who've managed injuries, health conditions, life β and who still show up and do the work.
I'm 61. I manage Osteoporosis. I run marathons and have qualified Good For Age at London six times.
I'm not special β I'm just someone who never accepted the story that getting older means getting less.
You don't have to accept that story either.
The body responds to challenge at every age. It wants to move. It wants to be strong. It thrives when you give it
the right kind of work and the right kind of attention. That's what my online classes are about. Not gentle. Not basic.
Intelligent, progressive movement for people who intend to stay active for the rest of their lives.
Are you one of those people? Come and find me. I'd love to have you in the room!
