TWO BRECON STUDENTS VISIT A SCHOOL NEAR GOUESNOU.
When the group of Brecon Gouesnou members visited Gouesnou recently they were accompanied by two Brecon students who were studying French at A level. Megan and Sophia stayed with a local family for five days and visited the local College de Vizac. This gave them a valuable opportunity to experience the French way of life and also to practice the language. In school the girls visited a variety of classes talking about Wales and answering pupils’ questions.
Gratefull thanks go to Murielle Fally one of our Gouesnou friends for arranging the school visit and also to the teachers of College de Vizac for welcoming them.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR PUPILS STUDYING FRENCH OR ENGLISH.
Both Twinning Committees here and in Gouesnou liaise to provide opportunities for students to visit Brecon and Gouesnou. This is an important aspect of the Twinning and can include voluntary work placements. We are looking forward to welcoming a Gouesnou student here in September.
If you, or any student studying French, would like to know more about this kind of opportunity contact [email protected]
