🏏 FRIDAY-NIGHT FRIENDLY! 🏏

Our ladies are in friendly action at home tonight as we welcome the fantastic Birstall Belles to M**f Field.

All the action will be streamed live on our YouTube channel from 6.30pm — but why watch it on a screen when you can come down and see the ladies in action for yourself?

But steady progress is still being made amongst all the other work that seems to constantly be going on down here!

A big thank you to Yorkshire Colour Coatings for getting the old door of our new umpires’ room rendered and looking the part. 👏

Next job is getting some paint on it once the render has dried out…

…which might require the rain to stop first. 🤣🌧️

Another little job ticked off the list as we keep chipping away at improving the ground. 🏏

A SECOND WIN FOR THE FIRST XI!

A brilliant result on the road at Cookridge as our First XI secured their second victory of the season!

We’ve deliberately not posted too much about results this year. Stepping up into the A Division was always going to be a huge challenge, but this group of players deserves enormous credit. They’ve kept turning up, stuck together and represented the club proudly every single week—even when the results haven’t reflected their effort.

It would have been easy for heads to drop, but they’ve kept battling—and yesterday they got the reward they thoroughly deserved. Well done, lads!

Meanwhile, I’m writing this from outside the club, locked out of the lounge and topping up the tan while contemplating why on earth I forgot I lent out my club keys on Friday…

A bit of a damp end to our Enjoy Cricket Camp yesterday, but all the children did amazingly well! 🏏👏

They enjoyed a relaxed afternoon watching Spider-Man with a hot chocolate before being presented with their well-earned certificates and medals. ☕🕷️🏅

Once again, a huge thank you to all our coaches and volunteers who helped make the camp such a success—we couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️
