Update

Alfie had his operation this morning after it was unfortunately cancelled late last night.

The surgeons were able to clean my wounds while I was in theatre, which is a positive step. unfortunately the damege is more than we originally thought and I'll need more operations, I'm staying positive and taking it one step at a time. I'll be back in hospital on Friday morning for the next procedure, with more to follow over the coming weeks.

The good news is that I'm feeling absolutely fine otherwise.

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for all your lovely messages, kind words, and support. I'm genuinely overwhelmed by everyone's kindness, and it's really helped to keep my spirits up.

I'll keep you all updated as things progress.

Hello everyone,🙄

As some of you know, I had an accident and came off my drag bike at Melbourne Raceway on Sunday during the final.

The most important thing is that I'm okay. I have injuries to my left hand, and while I am due to have an operation tomorrow, the good news is that I can go home today and continue recovering there.

As a family, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent messages, checked in, and shared their kind words. Your support means the world to us, especially from our amazing racing family. ❤️

I'll keep you all updated as things progress. For now, I'm resting up and enjoying the pain relief they've been giving me!
