2 wins in 2 against so far for the V against Knights and Nelson the boys find themselves away tonight against the Ringwood Town Dev team at Long Lane before travelling away on Sunday to face Burton

PRESEASON IS UPON US!

The V will be entering Sunday Div 2 next season with high hopes of success - after being league runners up and cup final winners in the first season back, the lads will look to build up on this once again to see if the club can return to the top flight in Dorset Sunday football.

The lads won the cup!!

After a weeks of celebrating - finally posting.

The V ran out 4-3 winners against a very strong Bournemouth electric in the clubs first season back - going down twice in the first half - the lads equalised through Smelliot and Harradine - yet again another timely goal from the centre back with two left feet as he pulled one back on the stroke of half time.

Electric probably felt comfortable in that first half after leading very early however the V recompsed and came out strong in the second half.

Two more goals to cap a hat trick from Smelliot led the way and whilst electric pulled one back in the final 5 minutes - the lads stayed strong and held on.

The lads were fantastic across the park - Jimmy Palfrey stepping in as sub keeper as Alex Thomas injured himself on his birthday for adult play park. Matty came down from Leicester and provided some important interventions and Benny Tong was able to bring the greybeard out for a cup final run!

Thanks to the fans for coming out - bank holiday weekend proved a messy night as the lads painted the town red with winners tables at Aruba!!

Onwards to next season with preseason friendlies starting in July
