Splash Stars

Today marks Zoe’s official last day with us before she begins her maternity leave. 💙

It’s hard to put into words just how much Zoe means to Splash Stars. As our Senior Teacher, she has been a huge part of our journey, helping to shape our lessons, mentor our team, and inspire thousands of swimmers over the years. Her dedication, passion and care for every child she teaches have made a lasting impact on so many families.

While we’re going to miss her enormously over the coming months, we couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter as she prepares to welcome her little one.

Please join us in wishing Zoe all the love and luck as she starts her maternity leave. We know she’s going to be an amazing mum, and we can’t wait to welcome her back to the Splash Stars family when the time is right.

And… let’s just say there are some very exciting things ahead for both Zoe and Splash Stars… watch this space. 😉💙

Laker is going from strength to strength in his swimming class.
Zoe said he is such a pleasure each week putting all his energy into his swims with a big smile as well!
He understands his body position much better in the water, becoming more independent week on week and his leg kick for each stroke is improving.

Eva is smashing it in her swimming lessons.
Amelia said she worked really hard last week and did well kicking for a full length of back swim.

Edith is doing amazingly in level 2 now!
Rachel said she managed 2 back to back lessons so well and was swimming with her arms recovering over the water on her front crawl as well as performing side breaths.

Romy only began lessons a few weeks ago feeling nervous and with no swimming experience, but she has already made incredible progress.
She now arrives with a huge smile, is confidently blowing bubbles and is beginning to develop a fantastic streamline body position.
Her back floating last week was amazing too!
Her willingness to learn and positive attitude make her an absolute pleasure to teach.

Her streamline is beautiful and her aquatic breathing is improving.

After weeks of assisted jumps, Zoe was also impressed with Lola's want to do a sitting dive in all by herself!

Finding the right swimming lessons for a child with additional needs isn’t always straightforward.

At Splash Stars, we provide a calm, structured and supportive environment where every child is given the time, space and guidance they need to progress at their own pace.

We are fully inclusive across all of our lessons and also offer:

Small group SEN lessons (max 4 swimmers, with adult support in the water)
SEN sessions for independent swimmers ready to progress further
1:1 private lessons starting next month for more tailored support

Our teaching approach is hands-on, patient and consistent, with a strong focus on building confidence, water safety and long-term independence.

We also support complete beginners, so whether your child is new to the water or already swimming, we will place them in the right stage.

We currently have limited spaces available across Bolton, Radcliffe and Whitefield, including:

SEN small group sessions (very limited availability)
Beginner lessons for children aged 4+
Pathway options for those ready to progress

With practice and determination, Imran said that Sammy has grown in confidence since feeling nervous about putting his face in the water.

Last week he achieved a huge milestone of putting his face in and even collected a sinker from the bottom of the pool! WELL DONE!
