Our amazing Senior Teacher, Zoe, welcomed her beautiful baby girl, Lani, into the world on Saturday. 💗

Mum, Lani and the whole family are all doing really well, and we couldn’t be happier for them.

We are beyond excited to finally share some BIG news…

We are the proud new occupants of 187 St Helens Road AKA The Bubble Hub! 🫧💙

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been working tirelessly renovating the former Swim Smart building in Bolton, which is now our brand new home. And trust us when we say… it has needed a lot of love and attention! 🔨🎨

But we have HUGE plans for this space. 💭✨

The Bubble Hub will be a place where our community can come together, offering:
🏊 Swimming lessons
🌈 SEN classes
✨ Wellbeing sessions
🎶 Dance classes
💕 Ladies only sessions
⭐️ Private lessons
💃 Aqua aerobics
🤰 Pre-natal classes
✏️ Training courses
…and so much more. This is just the beginning!

Keeping this a secret has been incredibly difficult, but we’re so happy we can finally share this exciting journey with you all.

🌟 Future Swim Teachers in the Making! 🌟

A huge congratulations to George and Rocco on achieving their STA Aquatic Helper Certificate! 👏

At just 14 years old, both boys have shown real commitment, maturity and enthusiasm while volunteering to support our swimmers at Sharples High School. From helping younger children build confidence in the water to assisting our teachers during lessons, they’ve both been fantastic role models.

Volunteering is such a valuable experience. Not only are they developing leadership, communication and teamwork skills, but they’re also giving back to the swimming community and inspiring the next generation of swimmers.

We’re incredibly proud of everything they’ve achieved. Who knows… maybe we’re looking at two future Splash Stars swim teachers! 💙🏊

Today marks Zoe’s official last day with us before she begins her maternity leave. 💙

It’s hard to put into words just how much Zoe means to Splash Stars. As our Senior Teacher, she has been a huge part of our journey, helping to shape our lessons, mentor our team, and inspire thousands of swimmers over the years. Her dedication, passion and care for every child she teaches have made a lasting impact on so many families.

While we’re going to miss her enormously over the coming months, we couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter as she prepares to welcome her little one.

Please join us in wishing Zoe all the love and luck as she starts her maternity leave. We know she’s going to be an amazing mum, and we can’t wait to welcome her back to the Splash Stars family when the time is right.

And… let’s just say there are some very exciting things ahead for both Zoe and Splash Stars… watch this space. 😉💙

Laker is going from strength to strength in his swimming class.
Zoe said he is such a pleasure each week putting all his energy into his swims with a big smile as well!
He understands his body position much better in the water, becoming more independent week on week and his leg kick for each stroke is improving.

Eva is smashing it in her swimming lessons.
Amelia said she worked really hard last week and did well kicking for a full length of back swim.
She also performed some beautiful push and glides too.

Edith is doing amazingly in level 2 now!
Rachel said she managed 2 back to back lessons so well and was swimming with her arms recovering over the water on her front crawl as well as performing side breaths.

Romy only began lessons a few weeks ago feeling nervous and with no swimming experience, but she has already made incredible progress.
She now arrives with a huge smile, is confidently blowing bubbles and is beginning to develop a fantastic streamline body position.
Her back floating last week was amazing too!
Her willingness to learn and positive attitude make her an absolute pleasure to teach.
