Thank you so much to Nathan White for his time as manager of our women’s team.

What an amazing job he’s done with this team, whilst having a lot of exciting personal milestones. We are so grateful for his time there and his input continuing in his role as Head of Football. We know he will go on to have an amazing career, after he takes some time to focus on his personal life.

𝐁𝐑𝐂𝐅𝐓 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍’𝐒 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄

After nine months in the role, Nathan White has stepped down from his position as BRCFT Women’s Team Manager.

Nathan has played an important role in the development of our team over the past nine months, giving his time, commitment and support both on and off the pitch.

Reflecting on his time with our team, Nathan said:

“It has been an honour and a privilege to manage BRCFT Women. I’m incredibly proud to have stabilised the foundations of the team that I hope will allow for clear progression and continued development in the months and years ahead.

A big thank you to every player - past and present -, the coaching staff and everyone involved behind the scenes who have given their time, effort, and commitment throughout. I’ve met some fantastic people along the way and created memories that I will always look back on with great pride.

I want to thank my family for their incredible support. The time and commitment that comes with managing a team inevitably takes time away from those closest to you, and I’m incredibly grateful for their patience and backing throughout. I’m now looking forward to being able to spend more time with them and enjoying that time together.

I’m excited to see what the future holds for the players and the team, and I’ll always be grateful to have played a part in this chapter of the team’s journey. I wish everyone involved every success for the future.”

Everyone at BRCFT Women’s Team would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Nathan for his hard work, dedication, and commitment over the past nine months.

What a fantastic evening celebrating one of our very own! ⚽️

We were absolutely delighted with the wonderful evening we hosted to celebrate the launch of ‘Miracle Man’, the new book telling the incredible life and career of Billy Mackay, written by Billy and Graeme Strachan.

It was a real privilege to hear Billy and Graeme share stories, memories and insights from Billy’s remarkable life and career. A brilliant opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate a true local legend.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in making the evening such a success.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped create such a fantastic atmosphere, to Margot Mackay for all her help with the planning and organisation, to Shaun from Adventure Into Books who did a fantastic job handling the book sales on the night and, of course, a huge thank you to our good friends at Blairgowrie Junior Football Club for their support.

A massive thank you to all our staff, who worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly with a special mention to our chef, Myrah, who did a brilliant job feeding everyone and keeping us all very well looked after!

But most of all, a huge thank you to Billy and Graeme for such an interesting, entertaining and memorable evening. It was wonderful to hear Billy’s story and celebrate everything he has achieved.

We are genuinely delighted with how the evening went and perhaps what makes us happiest of all is that it was completely free to attend, allowing our community to come together and celebrate one of our very own.

Sometimes you have evenings that are just 10/10 and this was one. Listening to Billy Mackay talking with Graeme Strachan about his football career which Graeme captured in his book Miracle Man.

Shaun from provided the books and Blairgowrie & Rattray Community Football Trust who Billy has contributed so many years to in all our various guises, provided the venue and half time pies and stovies.

It was full circle with so many who have connections with Blairgowrie Juniors in attendance and some great questions.

⚽New Session⚽

The first block of our Role Ready session is designed for Full Backs. This session will be led by Football Education Officer and East Fife full back David Wilson.

Modern full-backs need more than speed and stamina. Learn to defend with confidence, dominate 1v1 situations, support the attack and make smarter decisions on and off the ball.

Our position-specific sessions break down the demands of the role, helping players to:

- Improve defensive positioning and awareness
- Develop 1v1 defending and recovery runs
- Recognise when to overlap, underlap or hold position
- Improve crossing, passing and combination play
- Build confidence in real-game situations

Campbell gardening services 🤝 Blairgowrie & Rattray Community Football Trust

Delighted to extend our agreement with Chris at Campbell Gardening Services, highlighting the starting point of a new era for the partnership with Chris dedicating even more of his time to also support with maintenance of the grass pitches, keeping them in excellent condition.

There have already been numerous comments on how good the pitches have looked since he’s began doing this so a huge thank you. 👏🏻

It is great to have a business that is so dedicated to the cause supporting us. We look forward to continuing working with you! ⚽️

Today marks the start of what will be a good partnership between ourselves and Blairgowrie & Rattray community football trust. Here at campbell gardening services we have agreed terms to cut and mark all football pitches for the the trust.
Cuts will be done on alternative weeks to the council.
We thank the trust and all staff for giving us the opportunity to assist in the growth of the club.
