Well great start for the lads at a wet boundary park.. 6-0 winners over a well organised young side wyre. The Newton arms had a full squad apart from 1 or two that were away but everyone played a part today and deserved the win.. There was plenty of top performers today but management gave it the big lad Ñolan Mike who was solid and got himself a goal also.

Massive mention and appreciation to Wyre before the game we all respected a minute silents for the passing of Alan Gallagher. Alan had football in his blood and like alot of people football was his life. He played at a very good level in Manchester but he would always be asking how his local sides are getting on and try to get down when he could
