NEW HUNTERSHILL PITCH VANDALISED AGAIN!!!

After all the recent investment and hard work that has gone into upgrading the pitch and facilities at Huntershill, it's incredibly disappointing to see the facility being vandalised again — despite it only being a matter of weeks old.

It started with kids jumping on and snapping the brand-new dugouts. That was swiftly followed by graffiti and fence panels being broken off. Now parts of the brand-new playing surface have been burnt and glass has been smashed in the centre circle.

Honestly, what is wrong with these people?

This is a shared community asset, used by numerous clubs, teams and groups from various sports across the local area.

It's utterly soul-destroying to see this community facility being mistreated, damaged and neglected. Even more frustrating is the feeling that as usual nothing seems to be getting done to stop it.

If anyone has witnessed any of this vandalism or has information that could help identify those responsible, please get in touch privately.

This time it’s The South Challenge Cup Round 2 action as we travel to face Lochore Welfare F.C. of the East of Scotland First Division.

A tough test away from home but one we’re looking forward to. 💪

Despite a lethargic first-half performance, we were worthy of the victory in the end after a much-improved second half.

A good result against a side we always seem to struggle against, and another important 3 points on the board. 🇪🇪🦅

Confirmation of yesterday's result.

We found ourselves unlucky to go in a goal down at half-time after conceding a worldie just before the break.

The second half was a lot better from us in front of goal but once again we conceded a very frustrating second goal in the closing moments.

We deserved the 3 points yesterday. It was a big improvement on our last couple of performances but there's still plenty for us to improve upon.

We'll keep pushing. 🇪🇪🦅
