⛳️🎾 Toddler Tennis Team Night Out!

We swapped tennis rackets for golf clubs for our latest team social… and it definitely brought out our competitive sides!

After a very close game, Sally and I finished joint top of the leaderboard! So technically we’re both champions… although I think a rematch might be needed! 👀

Such a lovely evening with lots of laughs, friendly competition and a chance to spend some time together away from work.

We had loads of fun and can’t wait for the next one! 🎾⛳️

⛳️ Toddler Tennis Team Social! 🎾

We’re swapping the tennis rackets for mini golf clubs for our latest team social tonight at Golf Fang!

We’re really excited to be getting the team together and welcoming Naailah, our newest member of the Toddler Tennis team.

As Toddler Tennis continues to grow, we think it’s so important to make time for our team away from work to have fun, get to know each other better and celebrate the brilliant people who make our sessions what they are. ❤️

There might be a little bit of competitiveness involved… 👀

Here’s to new team members, a growing Toddler Tennis family and plenty of fun along the way! 🎾⛳️

💚 Feel the fear... and do it anyway. 💚

This weekend, my daughter spotted this climbing frame and really wanted to have a go... but she was nervous.

She looked at me a few times for reassurance, took a deep breath, and kept climbing. my husband and I encouraged her when she needed it. When she achieved it, the smile on her face said it all.

As parents, it's so tempting to step in and make things easier, but sometimes the greatest gift we can give our children is the confidence to discover that they can do hard things.

Every challenge they overcome helps build resilience, self-belief and courage for the next one.

It's exactly the same at Toddler Tennis. 🎾

With lots of encouragement, praise and fun, we help children realise that it's okay if something feels difficult at first. Every attempt, every little success and every "I'll try again" builds confidence.

Our goal isn't just to teach tennis skills. It's to help children leave believing:
"I can do hard things."

Because that confidence doesn't stay on the tennis court... it follows them into school, friendships, sport and life.

What challenge has your little one surprised you by overcoming recently? We'd love to hear your stories below 👇

Good Luck, Our Graduates! 🎾

As another term comes to an end, it's time to say goodbye to some very special little tennis stars as they head off to school.

Some of these children have been with us since they were just 2 years old. Others we've been lucky enough to know for even longer, watching them grow from tiny babies on the sidelines while their older brothers and sisters enjoyed Toddler Tennis, before eventually joining us themselves.

Seeing their confidence grow, their skills develop, and their love for being active flourish has been such a privilege.

But it's not just the children we'll miss... we'll miss the amazing parents, grandparents and families too. Thank you for trusting us, cheering from the sidelines and being part of our Toddler Tennis family.

Watching little ones grow into confident, happy children ready for their next adventure is exactly why we do what we do. We can't wait to see all the wonderful things you'll achieve at school.

Good luck, Class of 2026! You'll always be part of the Toddler Tennis family 🧡.

🎾 Helping Your child Develop Hand-Eye Coordination Starts Earlier Than You Think!

Before little ones can catch, throw, or swing a racket, young babies first need to learn how to track objects with their eyes. Visual tracking is an important developmental skill that helps build hand-eye coordination, concentration, and even supports future reading and writing.

Here are a few simple ways to encourage your babies tracking at home:
🟡 Follow a ball – Slowly roll or gently move a brightly coloured ball from side to side and encourage your baby to watch it.
🎈 Use bubbles – Blow bubbles and let your little one follow them as they float through the air. It's fun and fantastic for visual development!
🌈 Play with scarves or ribbons – Wave colourful scarves slowly in different directions for your baby to watch and reach towards.
📚 Read interactive books – Point to pictures and move your finger across the page to encourage your child to follow along.

Remember, every child develops at their own pace. There isn't a race to reach milestones, it's all about giving them plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and learn.
