Edwardian F.C. are delighted to announce that we are now recruiting players for the upcoming season.

As we prepare for another exciting year of rugby, we’re looking to welcome new players to our senior squads. Whether you’re an experienced player looking for a new challenge, returning to the game, or making the step up into senior rugby, you’ll find a home at Edwardians.

Competing in Regional 2 Midlands West, our First XV look to continue to build on recent success. Whilst our Second XV will look to be competitive in Counties 4 Midlands West with constant opportunities to break into First team rugby.

Our club prides itself on providing a welcoming environment, quality coaching, and a strong social culture both on and off the pitch.

Edwardians are delighted to announce their new Captains for the upcoming season.

Cameron Lea takes the reins as Club and First XV Captain, having firmly established himself as a leader within the team over the last few seasons. Cameron brings a physicality and a fearlessness that will come in handy for the Club’s third season at Regional 2 midlands west.

Backing Cameron up will be Calum White as First XV Vice-Captain. Cal has always been a popular and reliable member of the squad, and will no doubt bring his own brand of leadership each week.

We look forward to seeing the boys in action come September!

Elevate Performance Academy are running a Rugby Camp at Edwardian FC, The Memorial Ground, Solihull this summer for children aged 5–11.

The camp will include rugby skills, fun games, teamwork activities and plenty of summer holiday energy burning.

📅 Dates:
Week 1: 22, 23, 24 July
Week 2: 29, 30, 31 July
Week 3: 5, 6, 7 August

⏰ Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Early drop-off and late pick-up available.

💷 £30 per day or £80 per week

Our second new player announcement is just as exciting as the first, as we welcome Jake Connolly to Ed’s!

Jake is another exciting young talent who has chosen to ply their trade at Streetsbrook Road next season, and we cannot wait for him to show off his intense style of play in Edwardian colours come September.💙❤️🏉

Ed’s are delighted to announce the first new addition of their summer rebuild. Ciaran Dougan joins us from Woodrush, where he found huge success.

A dynamic and versatile front rower who is fresh off the back of a series of impressive performances for Greater Birmingham, we cannot wait for him to sink his teeth into the campaign next season.💙❤️🏉

BACKS COACH WANTED

Edwardians RFC are looking for a talented Backs Coach!!

Are you passionate about attacking rugby, player development, and creating exciting backline play? We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Backs Coach to join our rugby club coaching team.

Join, develop and mentor, a young, ambitious squad oozing with talent preparing for a tough new challenge as we transition and help lead the club into an exciting new era.

What we’re looking for:
• Strong knowledge of backline attack and skills
• Positive leadership and communication
• Ability to develop players of all abilities
• Team-first attitude and commitment on training nights and matchdays

What you’ll bring:
•Creativity in attack
•Energy and motivation
•A focus on player growth and enjoyment
•The guts for a challenge
