Number 3 – LC! 🧡🖤

LC was absolutely outstanding today! Her defensive positioning throughout the game was brilliant, and her tackling was absolutely solid.

When she won the ball back, she didn’t panic. She carried the ball forward, found her pass or played a fantastic ball over the top — which even resulted in a beautiful assist! 👏⚽️

Week in and week out, LC works incredibly hard and is improving massively. She doesn’t just put the work in at training and on match days — she’s also putting the work in at home too! 💪🧡🖤

Fantastic performance today, LC, and a very well-deserved Parents’ & Managers’ Player of the Match! 🏆👏

A great first game back in the league! 🧡🖤

All the girls worked extremely hard today, and you could tell just how buzzing they were to be back playing league football! The effort from every single girl was fantastic. 👏🧡🖤

A frustrating result, but there were plenty of positives. We played great football from the back, passed well and created chances, though we need to be more clinical in the final third.

Our two goals from our Number 11, HY! were brilliant, with fantastic balls over the top creating space up front. We also saw some great wing play and a strong defensive performance.

Our Number 1 was fantastic in goal, even playing through an injured toe! 🤦‍♂️🧤👏

A massive thank-you to all our supporters who came along today and got behind the girls. Your support and encouragement really does mean a lot to the team. 🧡🖤👏

And a huge thank-you to Leanne for running our tuck shop and Laura for taking our photos today. 📸🧡🖤 Both massively appreciated!

Instead, we spent the evening at Ninja Warriors — a well-deserved break for the girls before our first league game this weekend! 🙌⚽️

And my Manager’s Player of the Match goes to…

AM! 👏🔥🧡🖤

WOW… what a defender she is!

AM is our latest signing and she has fitted into our team perfectly. All the girls absolutely love her — and so do we! 🧡🖤

Her work rate and composure are outstanding. She doesn’t get under pressure, she’s so calm on the ball and it’s amazing to see.

She’s strong in her tackles and is an absolute rock at the back. Her tackling today was brilliant! 💪

But not only can she defend… she can carry the ball too!

AM scored her first goal for us today after winning the ball back, driving straight down the middle of the pitch, taking players on and then calmly putting the ball past the keeper to get her first goal for the team — and our first goal of the match! ⚽🔥

What a moment!

Brilliant performance today, AM. What a player you are! 👏🔥

Keep working hard and keep doing exactly what you’re doing.

HY! 👏🔥🧡🖤

HY is normally our striker, but over the past few weeks we’ve dropped her onto the right wing — a position she has played before — and WOW, how deadly is she!

She was running up and down that wing all game, taking players on, making quick triangle passes with her teammates and causing the opposition all sorts of problems.

But what impressed me just as much was her defensive work. Whenever our defenders needed help, HY was there! She tracked back, helped win the ball back, chased down her opposition and constantly put pressure on them.

Outstanding performance! 👏

I think we may have found your new position! 😍

And the best thing is, HY has the versatility to play up top whenever we need her too.

Keep working hard, keep taking in all the information and, most importantly, keep being you!

HY is going to cause some serious problems next season and we absolutely cannot wait! 🔥🐯🧡🖤
