This is a fight we have been excited to match over the last year. Liam has been fighting domestically as well as in Thailand this year and has achieved his biggest win to date against RWS ranked no 8 Patrick Teerapong.

His opponent, Finn is the younger brother of one of the UK’s top middleweights, Joe Welch. He’s starting to make his own name on the UK fight scene having already won the WBC 70kg British title and is intent on becoming a two weight British champion.

Whether it’s the nonstop “go to war”style of McDonnell or the “crisp striking” style of Welch

He fought at the weight above his natural weight & managed to dominate from start to finish. Now back fighting at light welterweight, Cormac is going show why he’s one of the best fighters in Ireland in his division.

After a good win last time out against WBC Celtic Champion David Mc Robert’s Liam is looking to continue his winning run. His opponent is the UK No 10 and former WBC British champion Johnny Craig. Trained by his Dad John Johnny has been around Muay Thai his hole life and is coming to Belfast for the win.
