Eastside Boxing Club

First up on Friday was Lewis and Quinn boxing on the Markethill Boxing & Fitness Club end of season show both lads boxing well and gaining more valuable experience in the ring we thank Markethill for having us up 🥊

Next up was riyan, Adam & Charlie boxing on the Bangor Abbey Boxing Academy end of season show with all 3 lads doing well and gaining more experience in the ring we thank Abbey for the invite 🥊

Onto next week where we have Quinn boxing again on the big Dungannon boxing club show 🥊

Senior training will finish next Thursday 25th June we will close for the month of July and we will reopen around the start to middle of August we look forward to nice earned break 🥊

Just a reminder that our junior sessions are now finished for the summer we will return again in end of August look out for our post for the new season hope everyone enjoys the break 🥊

A great we day to finish the season for us in the gym a lot of pull outs regarding all the protests and trouble going on but we were determined to run the show for the lads to finish the season well. Top class exhibitions for all the boys and massive thanks to the clubs that helped and came along with boxers Cairn Lodge ABC Tullycarnet Boxing Club Bangor Abbey Boxing Academy and Dungannon boxing club all the lads have done well and thanks for coming.

We also have to thank the sponsors that helped in making today and all year help us. It’s hard to do without everyone.

We also introduced a junior and senior of the year awards today.

First up was junior boxer of year Jacob hodgen who has had around 7/8 exhibitions this season never back down and took on as much as he could and has been super well done mate 🥊

Next up was senior boxer of year and was Lewis Carson winning 3 titles this year and has really started to grow into it maturing well! Onto next season now mate 🥊

Also a huge thanks for everyone that came out and supported the club today was a good we day 👌

We all set to go tomorrow for our exhibition day doors open at 1245 first fight around 1.15pm start £5 pay at the door we have 14 matched up for it and will have ballots, pitch & toss and refreshments available come along and support the club as we finish the season 🥊

The gym is back open tonight as normal!

Seniors 620pm-730pm

We also having our exhibition day on Saturday doors will open at 1245pm we have 16 exhibitions from ages 7+ pitch & toss ballot etc we hope to see plenty of support for those competing on Saturday 🥊🥊

The gym will be CLOSED tonight with all the protests etc going on people travelling to and from the club it’s best to close for everyone’s safety and that and hopefully be open as normal tomorrow and Saturday with the exhibition day 🥊

Lots of messages in regards to whether or not the gym will be open tonight, it will be OPEN as normal as we prepare for our show this Saturday.
