Last time we faced Hawkins, we beat them to wrap up the Division 4 title on the final day. Fast forward to this Sunday, and we're locking horns with them all over again to kick off life in Division 3!

No doubt they’ve got a point to prove, but the boys are ready. Let's make Meltis a fortress from day one. See you on the touchline!

Pre-season is officially done and dusted.

A proper clinical performance on Sunday,putting four past Sandy with a clean sheet to boot, was the perfect way to wrap up our summer graft. The work’s been put in and now it’s time for the real business to begin.

Our league campaign kicks off this Sunday against familiar foes in Hawkins, and the opening run of games is looking tasty!

Came off the bench at half-time against Sandy FC yesterday and completely tore them apart. A stunning second-half hat-trick to wrap up a proper 4-0 win. Proper game-changer, that. ⚽⚽⚽

FINAL SCORE: Sandy FC 0 - 4 Bedford Celtic 🟢⚪

Job done in the final pre-season runout! The lads traveled away to Sandy today for our last friendly before the league campaign kicks off, putting in a clinical performance to wrap up pre-season with a proper 4-0 win and a clean sheet.

It was a tight, hard-fought opening 45 minutes, but we went into the break 1-0 up thanks to a neat finish from Mo Fazily.

Lots of changes at half-time to get crucial minutes in the legs across the squad. Enter Gethin Jenkins. Coming off the bench, Jenkins absolute stole the show in the second half, bagging a sensational hat-trick to blow Sandy away and seal a comfortable victory.

Brilliant shift from all the boys today. Pre-season is officially wrapped, the confidence is high, and we are more than ready for the main event.

Focus turns to next week as the league campaign begins. Up the Celtic! ⚽🔥
