🔥 5-WEEK MATCH PREP PROGRAMME 🔥

For the first time ever, we will be creating our M̶O̶M̶E̶N̶T̶O̶U̶S̶ R̶E̶P̶S̶ ̶T̶E̶A̶M̶S̶ ̶ — giving high-level players the opportunity to train with purpose, prepare for competitive fixtures and represent Momentous against Academy & Development Centre teams.

⚽️ AGES U7s – U16s ⚽️

We are looking for HIGH-LEVEL PLAYERS who want to challenge themselves in a demanding, competitive environment.

Players will initially attend a FREE TRIAL SESSION, where our coaches will assess them to determine whether the programme and group are the right level for their development.

Successful players will then be invited to continue within the programme and have the opportunity to compete for selection for our M̶O̶M̶E̶N̶T̶O̶U̶S̶ R̶E̶P̶S̶ ̶T̶E̶A̶M̶S̶ ̶

🧠 WEEKS 1–4 | MATCH PREP
Four weeks of structured, academy-style preparation focused on:

⚽️ Technical ability
🧠 Tactical understanding
👀 Game awareness
⚡️ Decision making
🤝 Team understanding
🔥 Match-day behaviours

Then comes the moment everything has been building towards…

🏟️ WEEK 5 | THE GAME
Selected players will represent T̶H̶E̶ ̶M̶O̶M̶E̶N̶T̶O̶U̶S̶ R̶E̶P̶S̶ ̶T̶E̶A̶M̶S̶ ̶ in competitive fixtures against Academy / Development Centre opposition.
An opportunity to put four weeks of preparation into action, test yourself against high-level players and experience an academy-style match environment.

👀 OPPORTUNITY & EXPOSURE

A big part of what we want to create with the Reps Programme is opportunity.

We want to provide another platform where talented players can be seen and looked at by professional clubs, with professional club scouts sometimes in attendance at our training sessions and games.

While we can never guarantee a player will be signed or offered a trial by a professional club, we CAN create an environment where talented players are given opportunities to develop, perform and be seen.

🔄 4 WEEKS PREP → WEEK 5 GAME → RESET → REPEAT

After each Week 5 fixture, we return to Week 1, begin another Match Prep block and work towards playing different opposition in the next Week 5 game.

EVERY SESSION HAS A PURPOSE.

A brilliant moment for these three lads, who all featured for Barnsley Football Club First Team tonight after spending time training with us at Momentous Football Academy during pre-season. 👏🔥

All three came down to The Cage and put in some quality work with Coach Jimmy, sharpening their game and getting valuable extra work in ahead of the new season.

To then see all three involved with the Barnsley First Team on the same night is fantastic. 💪⚽️

This is exactly what Momentous is about — providing an environment where players can come in, work hard, improve and prepare themselves for the demands of the professional game.
