Starting Tuesday 22nd September, the 9-week programme will help you build your fitness, confidence and running ability.

The Seaton Classic 10k is proud to support NDA Women’s Aid, helping raise awareness and vital funds to support women and families in our community.

There’s a fantastic Fabulous Day Disco happening on Saturday 19th September 2026, 1pm–5pm at The Bryansburn Inn in Bangor. 🎶🪩

The afternoon includes Spin It to Win It, a ballot and an Ultimate 80s Quick Quiz — so bring some cash and you could win some great prizes! 🏆

The Seaton Classic 10K is getting closer and we can’t wait to welcome you to Bangor for another fantastic race! 🏅

ℹ️ Here’s some quick fire race day info!

⏰ Start: 10:15am
📍 Castle Park, beside Bangor Castle

⏱️ PACERS
We’ll have 40, 45, 50, 55, 60 & 70-minute pacers to help you hit your target time! 🙌

💧 WATER STATION
There will be a water station at the halfway point in Groomsport and at the end of the race in Ward Park.

🥪 POST-RACE REFRESHMENTS
Refreshments will be provided after the race in the Bowling Pavilion at Ward Park, adjacent to the finish line. A huge thank you to our fabulous members from North Down Athletic Club who will be keeping everyone fuelled and refreshed!💛💙

📦 PACK COLLECTION
Pack collection will take place at Bangor Aurora Aquatic & Leisure Complex:

👕 OFFICIAL RACE HOODIES
Our brand-new official race hoodies will be available to purchase at pack collection for just £30 each. A card machine will be available for payment or cash if preferred.

🏃 THE ROUTE
The Seaton Classic 10K is a fairly flat and fast course, with just a short hill around the 9K mark.

Starting in Castle Park, close to the front of Bangor City Hall, the route heads through Bangor city centre before taking you along the beautiful coast and countryside towards Groomsport.

The course loops through Groomsport before meeting the coast again for the penultimate kilometre back towards Bangor. The finish awaits in Ward Park, where there’s plenty of space to relax, recover and enjoy the atmosphere! 🎉
