⚽️ Back to it! ☀️
We’re back to our regular training sessions — and what a way to start! 🙌
The sun was shining, the boys (and coaches) brought plenty of energy, and there was lots of hard work across the session 💪

🥅 Goalkeeping session
🔥 Loads of energy
🏃♂️ And, of course, plenty of match play
Great to have everyone back out on the pitch doing what they love! 🖤🤍

Whitletts Victoria Summer Festival
It was a very wet Sunday for The Cambusdoon 2018’s at the weekend. Well done to all our boys for getting stuck in and playing some great football. Also well done to the parents/families for enduring the weather on the day ☔️💧.
The boys all worked so hard in each of their games and pulled together as a team ⚽️.
The festival finished with a medal ceremony, which as always the boys are happy to receive 🏅.
Thanks to Whitletts Victoria for hosting us at a super organised event, the home baking certainly kept the boys going on the day 🍰🧁
On to the next one for the boys at the AYFL at The Shoot this Sunday 16th August ⚽️
Mon the doon ⚽️❤️

⚽️ MEET THE COACHES ⚽️
Next up in our Meet the Coaches series is Dave 👋🏼
If you’ve been at training or a match you’ll no doubt have heard Dave moaning, but don’t let that fool you…..he likes to act as if coaching is a chore, but we all know it’s just an act! 😄
Behind the complaints is someone who actually enjoys helping the boys develop and is happy to get involved.
That said, there is one thing he enjoys even more than a training session… a post-training pint! 🍺
A huge thank you to Dave for all the time, commitment and laughs he brings to Cambusdoon FC 2018s. We’re glad to have you as part of the coaching team! ⚽️🤍🖤

We are super grateful to MHI Group & Heads of Ayr Farm Park for sponsoring our rain jackets - they were very much needed and appreciated today at the Barony Festival ☔️💨⚽️😬

What a day at the Barony Festival! ⚽🌧️
It was an early start with the rain pouring down for alot of the day, but that certainly didn't stop our boys! We entered two teams, with each playing five matches, and it was fantastic to see some excellent football, great teamwork and plenty of goals along the way.
Every single player gave a brilliant account of themselves and were a credit to the club. Their effort, attitude and determination throughout the day made all of the coaches incredibly proud.
A huge thank you as well to all of the parents for your support, helping everyone try to stay dry and keeping spirits high. Special mention to our gazebo, which sadly didn't survive to the end of the day! 😂☔
Well done everyone – another great day of football and memories made! 💙⚽👏

Next up in our Meet the Coaches series is Philip🤍🖤
Quietly competitive and fully committed, Philip leads by example in everything he does for Cambusdoon FC 2018s. He sets high standards and encourages our players to work hard and show effort and commitment.
When it comes to our Players vs Coaches match, you can guarantee Philip will be one of the first to pull on a bib and show the boys he’s still got it! 😄⚽
A huge thank you to Philip for the time, dedication and passion he brings to the club every week. We’re lucky to have you as part of the coaching team! 👏💙

⚽️ MEET THE COACHES ⚽️
Next up in our Meet the Coaches series is Allan, our Assistant Head Coach. 🤍🖤
After spending the final two months of the season MIA (he claims he was working but he definitely made it to more than one World Cup game 🏴⚽️!)
We’re delighted to have Allan back where he belongs – on the training pitch with the boys - after his latest holiday of course 😜😎
A firm favourite with the players, Allan brings endless positivity, encouragement and plenty of smiles to every session. His enthusiasm is infectious, and the boys love having him around.
A huge thank you to Allan for everything he does for Cambusdoon FC. We’re looking forward to another great season with you back on the sidelines! 🤍🖤👏

Next up in our Meet the Coaches series is Adam! 🖤🤍
He’s our First Aider and chief cone placement co-ordinator! Adam is always there to help and is a valued part of the team.
He’s been recovering from an injury after an overly competitive performance in the dads’ race at sports day 🤕😂 We’re looking forward to having him back on the sidelines soon!
A huge thank you, Adam, for everything you do for our players and the club. We really appreciate it! 💙👏
Give Adam a 🥇in the comments to acknowledge his double win in the Dads’ race 😆

The UK 3 peaks in 24 hours
Myself, Krit, Matt and Lewis are all taking on the UK Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK. We’re doing this for a cause that’s deeply personal to us. Seeing my sister face cancer has shown me just how strong someone can be in the toughest of times, and it’s a reminder o...
