An important date in the Wendover bowls club calendar, The Finals Weekend of our Internal Competitions.
It takes place this weekend, games will start at 10.00 going on to late afternoon.
It will be a fascinating weekend of top class bowling, comprising 11 finals, played in a friendly but competitive spirit.
It will a great spectacle and everybody is invited to watch.

Our Les Mott Trophy was won by Mick Lawlor with 38 points. It was played over 5 games of 4 ends.

A rather wet night for the ladies Burnham Plate against Chesham and men’s Bucks Cup game against Cheddington. Ladies lost 20 shots to 13, but the men won on aggregate over the 4 triples (2 home and 2 away) 75 shots to 69.

If you can’t make it but would like to see how it’s played, you are welcome to come along on Sunday 3rd May from 2pm, to watch us play our first home game of the season against Scot Bowls.
Our outdoor season has now started, and we are looking to recruit new members. So whether you are an experienced bowler or have never tried this wonderful sport, why not come along and give it a go?
We are holding open evenings every Friday in May from 6-8.30pm. They are free of charge, and equipment will be provided, but you will need to wear flat soled shoes. All ages are welcome; our youngest member is 16, while our oldest is 90.
Our bar will be open and we serve bacon rolls at a reasonable cost.
We are a friendly club and we hold a number of social events throughout the year.
During the winter we play indoor short mat bowls.
