This week we had our good friend Tayo on the lake with his daughter and friends. Tayo is a brilliant angler and he worked his way around the lake chasing bubblers and looking for cloudy areas. 🐟

They landed some pretty fish from various swims and all of the carp landed were over twenty pounds. Tayo used 20mm herb wafters and matching boilies. 🔴

The Ashmead crew arrived in mid August and arrived on the hottest day of the year so far! They persevered and landed a very respectable score between them with fish coming from all around the lake once more!

Richard Matthews crew endured a few days of relentless heat🫠 and high temperature this week, but that didn’t stop them catching an impressive tally of carp between them.

As the drought continues to worsen and water levels remain low, please can we advise all anglers to bring wellies or waders to the fishery to help when landing the fish. 🐟

Shallow silty margins can make it awkward for netting fish so please come prepared.

The lake continues fish well despite the heat and we will share some more images as they come in!

Dave Payne from Bicester booked Tuckey farm with three of his mates and once again the lake didn’t fail to produce!

The lads landed over 25 fish up to 31lb 8oz which was the lovely two tone common caught by Rich Lee.

Lots of lovely mid twenties made an appearance despite the prolonged sunshine and high pressure!

Mike Donovan and his friends fished for 48 hours recently and landed over 20 fish between them.

Rubbish conditions have been established over us for weeks now but the bites keep on coming! The lads had lots of 20s in the haul and the fish look immaculate!

Gary Norman and his mates came for their first trip to Tuckey and it looks like they had a brilliant first trip! The lads caught well from all round the lake with well over 20 fish to over 28lb!!

Regular visitor Mircea and his friends came back for a high summer trip this weekend and it seems like they timed it perfectly.

The lads caught steadily throughout the 48 hours from all around the lake and they landed some of our scaly specimens among the 20 fish haul!

Well done lads that’s another impressive tally for July!!
